The Perfect Couples Getaway

Well, I must say traveling around the world is an exciting hobby. However, visiting a new country is not just about its food, cultures, customs and sights. Even accommodation matters as well, because you're staying in a new place where you dine and rest for the night, which creates a need in yourself for comfort and experience in the resort or hotel you live in.

Allow me to present to you one of the perfect couples getaways that I've stayed in. The photos above were taken using my digital and DSLR cameras.

It is known as "The Residence Maldives".

The Residence Maldives is located on the island of Gaafu Alifu Atoll. The entire island is surrounded by beautiful clear water that is filled with a variety of marine life. Definitely an ideal place for diving. The amazing interiors of this resort are all composed of the traditional Maldivian architecture.

But, the best thing of all here is the private villas that contains both a combination of classic and modern style designs. Some of the villas are known as the beachfront and over-water villas gives you the sense of putting your toes in the sand. Some may even provide you the experience of diving of the deck into the clear waters of your own private dive site.

I have to mention that staying here is not cheap nor reasonable. A room may cost up too 900-1300 USD or more. However, you will never forget the best experiences that you and your mate could have ever imagined.

Beijing The City of Chinese Origins

On December 2011, I spent my Christmas visiting the capital city of China, Beijing. Originally, I have visited China many years ago when I was still in junior high together with my family. However, for this trip I went there together with my friends Adam and Saravana. We had just completed our internship in Mission Hills Haikou, Hainan and decided to take a long one week vacation to explore the culture and heritage of Beijing.

During our trip here, we had our own personal tour guide and a private van that took us to various places around Beijing for example The Forbidden City, Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and etc. Although, my friends find history boring but to myself it is like a bedtime story that helps me sleep at night.

The hotel that we stayed in was in the heart of the Beijing City. It was close to the shopping district and many fantastic places to eat. Unfortunately, one of my friends was Muslim so we mainly had to dine in Halal approved restaurant. Nonetheless, the food served was good and we really enjoyed a warm meal after several hours of walking in the cold.

The pictures above were taken with my Digital Camera Nikon because my DSLR was undergoing a major service back home in Malaysia because of water damage a few weeks ago. Thankfully, I had a spare camera that was able to take excellent photos like this as well.

Well, I've managed to visit several provinces in China at least. I would return soon to other provinces for my photography work if I ever had the chance again.

Desa Park-City Water Front

During the previous weekend, I made a dessert trip for Durian Ice Kacang in Desa Park City Mall. I was with my family when we decided to pay a visit to try this amazing dessert. I agree that the trip was worth because the dessert was amazing but it was really filling. Moreover, it was slightly expensive.

After a long satisfying dessert, we decided to walk around the Desa Park City Mall. My aunt took us over to the Waterfront area. It was a really beautiful park surrounding a wide lake. Unfortunately, it was during the night time when we started walking around the park. We couldn't see much of natural stuff but mainly couples. The quietness of the area, with the moon shining brightly created the perfect romantic atmosphere.

If I had the chance to ever bring my girlfriend there for a walk, definitely I would want to miss such a chance.
