A Trip to The Switzerland Capital

Welcome to Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. This was a university excursion that took place on a Saturday. The trip was at least 2 hours away from university. We had to take a bus all the way down a windy mountain.

The trip was well worth it, as I was amazed to see that the capital city was actually a castle like area of medieval town, surrounded by a moat. I even had the chance to see the capital building of Switzerland but unfortunately it was close and there were no government officials around. Best of all, I went there with my friends and we had a really enjoyable time taking some Japanese food and walking around town. We even had time to walk through the local Christmas market.

To whomever, that comes and visit Switzerland please do stop by Bern because you will have the chance to take some amazing photographs and you would have the chance to try the local cuisines of the area like the cheese. If you get the chance to walk by the Christmas market, remember to have a sip of the warm wine because it is amazing! In addition, the price for a cup of warm wine is reasonable and it warms you up easily because Switzerland is a cold country.
